Jeff Maher has shot dozens of features, series and documentaries. In 2009 he joined Black Fawn Films where he writes, produces and shoots horrors and thrillers. He made his feature directorial debut in 2016 with Bed of the Dead which bloody-disgusting.com called "one helluva good time." He lives in Toronto, Ontario. His son, Nicholas Davis Maher, also works in the film industry.- Jeff Maher is a an award-winning television news journalist working for KOB (NBC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His reports have been seen on NBC News, MSNBC, CNN, The Today Show, Inside Edition, The Weather Channel, CNBC, and Animal Planet. His first award from the Associated Press came from his extensive coverage of Hurrican Rita in 2006 when he was working for KWES (NBC) in Midland, Texas. Since then he has been honored for various reports by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association and the Associated Press. The first story he ever covered was when he was 19 years old with the Columbine shooting in Littleton, Colorado in 1999. Maher is a third-generation broadcaster. His father, Jack, is a four-time Emmy award winning Executive Producer who has spent more than 30 years at KUSA (NBC) in Denver. His grandfather was a Hollywood screenwriter, and worked on the 'George Burns and Gracia Allen Show' in the 1950's before working in news in Denver. In March, 2010, Maher was featured as a news anchor in the season premiere of Breaking Bad on AMC. Maher is a native of Denver, Colorado. His brother Matt, is a decorated Iraq war veteran pilot, flying the F-18, EA-6B Prowler, and EA-18 based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Whidbey Island, Washington. Maher spent his teenage years doing stand-up comedy, radio character voices, and creating short films in Denver, Colorado.

Jeff is an educator and actor in Southern Maryland, who has performed in local theatre with the Newtowne Players, and shares his love of acting with his two sons, with the love and support of his wife. He has recently performed on stage in Dial M for Murder (Tony Wendice), A Few Good Men (Col. Jessep), The 39 Steps (Richard Hannay), Boeing Boeing (Bernard), and Dracula (Count Dracula). Jeff is forever grateful for his patient and loving wife, and his two amazing sons who inspire him every day
